How do you advertise a mobile DJ business?

I've been a DJ for a while now but I may get one gig every two weeks, I have been using craigslist, yellow pages, social media, and business cards.

I am thinking about placing an ad in the newspaper. I want to know if there are more effective ways to use paid advertising.

I wouldn't post in the newspaper, the main people who read them are older people (might use you for weddings though).

If I were you, try to be interactive in you advertising approach. Like, say "10% discount throughout summer!" or try looking through people's information on Facebook in the area to see if they're having any events coming up. If they are, try to get a hold of them. There's tons of ways!
