How do I access my Twitter account if I no longer have access to the registered e-mail?

I deleted the e-mail that I used to register my Twitter account and I forgot the password to my Twitter. I haven't posted in nearly two years, and I want to delete the account, but I don't know how. Twitter Customer Support says that nothing can be done because I have to have access to the registered e-mail, but there has to be some way for me to get access to this. Please help! Thank you.

If u deleted ur email then everything u used for that email is deleted.
means ur twitter account is deleted i guess.
to make sure go search ur name on twitter and if u found ur self then u cant do anything but if u didnt means its deleted.
