Alternative to FaceBook Messenger?
FaceBook is no longer supporting the FaceBook messenger Desktop application after March 3rd, 2014. What are some good alternatives that allow for Facebook messaging, but through a Desktop application?

pidgin is a good desktop app for it, probably most popular IM client out there, just google "facebook chat on pidgin" if you cant figure out how to set it up.

Trillian is a free desktop messenger that supports fb messenger, skype and I think some others as well.
