Can comcast change my payment for the same bill?
I was told on the phone my bill plus my installation fee would be 193.11 then I later received a bill to my email that also said it would be 193.11. OK awesome, the guy comes installs the bull shit blah blah blah and the next day I receive a new email BAMM 251 dollars....What? Six phone calls later and it turns out because i had the guy install my router they charged me an extra 50 dollars. Though the tech asked me if he wanted him to install it or not, he never told me "Hey, thats gonna be an extra 50 dollars" I could have easily installed the damn thing myself. So now here I am, feeling scammed by comcast wondering if all this is legal. For them to tell me twice that my bill would be 193.11 and then after its all said and done they bump it up to 251 as some sort of joke. Any smart people out there with some insight on to my problem?

My guess is they charged you extra for extra work.If you signed a agreement or anything like that I would review it and see what it says. But adding a router is extra work. But you are right he should have said something and dealing with Comcast is a real pain. It's almost like they try and wear you out.I can't believe they charged you for install, most of the time a new customer get a deal with free install. There must not be many choices where you live.
