ive seen mark with mac laptops.so maybe ios.but as long as i prefer php for web programming so i also prefer "linux" as OS

He used MacBook upon creation of FaceBook during his stay at Harvard. Therefore, the OS used to make facebook is Mac OS. Depends on the preference of some web programmers. Most web programmers prefer linux since it's free and doesn't invest any money to license their operating system before developing a webpage.
