Why do the decorations on the buttons on the new Twitter layout only show on one of my computers?
What are those little decorations, anyway?

They only show on my upstairs PC, and look great.
They don't show up on the downstairs PC, despite it using the same OS—I get empty boxes instead (as if glyphs for Unicode codepoints are missing).

Any idea why one would show them and not the other?

Not all computers are created equal by the mighty computer God. Maybe one of your computers does not have the necessary program of graphics to support the program. Just like some people only see things in a two dimensional world.
