I need help finding a topic for my research essay?

There are a lot of things I am passionate about and would enjoy doing a topic on but my English Professor gave us a pretty big list of things we cannot write about. Please help.
We cannot write about:
- a Superbowl Game (or any other single sporting event)
-abortion
-ADD/ADHD or overprescribing
-affirmative action or quotas
-age of the Earth/humans co-existing with dinosaurs
-alternative energy or fuels
-animal rights/testing
-athletes/celebrities being overpaid
- autism
-cell phone issues
- cloning or stem cells
-creatures of legend
-death penalty
-dreams/dreaming
-drinking age/drunk driving
- electoral college
-end of the world theories
- English as America’s official language
-euthanasia (mercy killing)/right to die
-evolution/creationism/intelligent design
- fad diets
-flag burning
-fast food
-gambling
-gun control/carry conceal
-hazing
-home schooling/prayer in school
-homeopathic medicines
- immigration
-Jack the Ripper, Marilyn Monroe, Tupac, Biggie, or Elvis
-legalization of marijuana for any reason
-media-induced violence or problems— movies/ television/video games
-near-death experience
-Nostradamus or other prophets
-obesity
-school uniforms/yearlong school
-school violence
-seatbelt/helmet laws
- serial killers
-sex education/abstinence only
-smokers’/non-smokers’ rights/tobacco- related issues
-social media
-spanking
- spirits/ghosts/haunting
-steroids or related topics
-tanning
-the assassinations of Presidents Lincoln or Kennedy or any other topic that intends to prove a conspiracy
-the da Vinci Code
-the rainforest/pollution
-the Titanic
-the war on terror/Iraq
- topics which require religious “proof,” or other unarguable topics
-traffic cameras
-UFOs, Atlantis, crop circles, faked Moon landing
-“under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance or “In God we trust” on money
-zero tolerance



This list is so long but i need a topic! Please help.

Have you considered state flags. Most people assume the flag has a crescent moon on it. It does not. That symbol comes for the uniforms worn by soldiers in the Revolutionary War.

hi.. i think fast food is a good topic.. u can write about fast food a lot.. about disadvantages of taking fast food, love of children towards it, and many more..gud luck
