Why does my laptop keep disconnecting from the wifi?

So i'm able to connect, but when I try to go on game or a website, I'm immediately disconnected. My laptop is the Toshiba Satellite L500. Also, our internet is split into two, 2.4ghz and 5ghz. My laptop is only able to connect to the 2.4ghz one. The 5ghz works fine on all my devices and is really fast. Please help!
Ive also tried a factory reset. Still disconnects.
The router is 3 weeks old

It might not be your laptop it could be your router how old is your router because I would suggest thinking about getting a new one..

It may be your router problem, or may be that your signal strength is extremely poor. You should check your internet connection first or check your router.

You could get a better USB wireless dongle.
