Facebook Chat Problem?

hi,
i like to keep my closest friends chat windows open (minimised but open) so that i can easily tell when they are online/offline. However today when i log on it hasnt saved my chat windows.
So i was wondering is this just a momentary bug or has facebook actually changed the chat?

Well, i tried what you said on two different browsers...but my prev. chat windows ( on chrome ) were'nt visible on firefox..
Also..at the moment facebook chat is developing..'cause my chat is under maintenance..Its temporary..you should be able to talk to your friends once again once thats fixed..
