Do you befriend or like your mayor or governor or senator in Facebook, and get them to help you solve some problems you face? For example, you and your community may feel you all need a bus service to another part of the town and you put this query in his Facebook page. Or some developer may be developing an estate near your neighbourhood and it is creating an ecological disaster, will you put this problem in their Facebook pages and hope they will help you resolve the problem?

I would have no problem friending elected officials on Facebook. In fact, the mayor of my city is one of my facebook friends.
