Why do people ask for likes and shares on Facebook?
I sometimes see pictures that my friends liked on a fan page that say stuff like "press like for if you respect this person and share" what is the point? other than getting the picture seen by thousands more people.

because that's what they think facebook is for... they think the more likes and comments they get, they will get more popular in real life...

A billion Facebook users means a huge marketplace. |
