Ways to get cheaper internet and cable service?
I currently have comcast internet and cable bundle and I pay $150 for both services and got 5 cable boxes. I'm moving next month and I'm trying to cut down expenses. However, my family does use the internet a lot especially me because I stream videos mostly the whole day everyday so getting a hotspot service won't be enough. I heard someone say that is cheaper to get cable with one provider say DISH for example and cable with comcast or verizon. Any sugestions?please

So why use multiple cable boxes? Each costs you a lot extra. Why not use DSL for broadband?

Usually you get a better deal if you bundle.Comcast starts people out on good deals but when it's over they make it up with higher monthly fees. When I was in a Comcast area,I always got the deal by calling and talking to them asking for the best deal. When that stopped working I went with ATT and after about 3 months Comcast called me and offer me a great deal to come back.So what I'm saying is you have to be willing to switch ISP and mean it if they don't give you a better deal. The other problem you have is with a family using the internet a lot you need a ISP that offers fast enough speeds and Comcast is one of the fastest you might not have anyone else in your area to switch to.Just Shop around using 5 boxes is going to cost you.

Pay only for the fastest internet speed and a really good router. You can use a PS3 or higher, Wii, Roku, Apple TV or one of many any of the others to watch TV. Most can be streamed and/or you can use an awesome app like TVShows to download full seasons of shows.
