Is it 301 redirection affect the ranking?

hello, I need to change the extension of default page and many other pages like .asp to .html. should i use 301 redirect. Website in top 10 result for many keywords. I don't want to loose my ranking and page rank. is it Redirection affect the ranking ranking? if yes then how much percent? and what are the others factors to consider while redirection?

Multiple 301 redirects will impact the ranking of that page. Google has confirmed that a small amount of trust and authority is lost for every 301 redirect.
