Can someone give me workout motivation?
So I'm starting to get more serious about working out. I'm a female 5'5 and my weight is 170lbs. It's not the ideal weight type at my height obviously lol I'm working out at least 6 times a week now. My goal is to lose 10lbs in a month. Is that a good goal? I'm not really sure about those things even though I have researched. I never eat fast food and I've been clean of it for about 2 years. I also drink lots and lots of water with no juices or soda. But, I know I don't eat enough veggies which is a problem. I never stock up on junk food even though I do snack about once a week, but only like a piece of candy or something like that. I want this to be a life style change and not a quick fix deal. I have higher goals too. I want to one day be about 130? Maybe? I just want to be healthy and strong.

I don't go to the gym because I like guidance during a workout and I don't have the funds for a trainer so I use workout videos to guide me. My endurance isn't very high but I'm 21 so it's not like I don't have the energy. It's just really hard right now. My weekly goal is to at least finish 2 30min. hard workouts throughout each day but it's hard for me to complete these videos and I feel like I'm not working hard enough to lose weight. I'm really determined guys. I don't like how my body or health is right now but I need some motivation to get through. Any tips or words of advice Smile

I am hosting a free 7 Day Clean Eating Challenge (It will be in the form of a group through Facebook) I will be providing a shopping list, meal plan and recipes to follow for the week. My last group had great success and lost an average of 4-7pounds. It's a great way to get in the habit of eating healthier because nutrition is a huge part of losing weight! The only thing I ask is that those who participate check in with the group daily. If you're interested like my facebook page and comment on my most recent post about the challenge and I will send you a request and invite to the group! (Facebook.com/mrsjmv)

If you aren't interested in joining the group, I would recommend taking before photos and measurements (they help keep us accountable) They don't need to be shared with anyone, just keep them for your own reference. It sounds like you're doing great, working out 6 times a week, and not eating junk food. With a proper diet and working out 10lbs in a month is more than possible! Don't get discouraged if you aren't able to complete the workouts in the videos. What programs are you using? Beachbody is excellent about having an on screen modifier in their workouts, meaning one person is doing a modified version of the workout everyone else is doing, so if you find you aren't able to do the exercise, you can do the modified version. If you aren't doing Beachbody, just think of how you can make each exercise a little easier, without changing what that particular move is supposed to be working. And remember, it gets easier over time! In a few months, those difficult routines will feel like nothing more than a warm up Smile You got this! Best of luck!
