What is this message?

I wanted to change my internet browser from Google Chrome to Mozilla Firefox.I uninstalled Google Chrome and tried Mozilla to set as my default browser but the following message appears and how to solve this problem.

“Could not initialize the application’s security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application’s profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behavior when accessing security features.”

Not only internet browser change but also in other circumstances when I try to install other soft wares
this problem block the proceeding.

Behind this message there are many reason like your Google chrome not uninstall properly or your Firefox is corrupted. So first check this two things.
