Why is my Google Chrome so slow?

Yesterday, all of a sudden my Google Chrome just completely stopped loading everything, and so I was like oh, maybe in a few hours it'll be up again. Later, I get on, and it's still not working. So i go to my sisters file and see if her Google Chrome is acting up. Her google chrome is loading just fine. And then today, i expected it to get better, but no it's not.
My other internets aren't affected

it could be a virus
or maybe just your google chrome could be outdated?
click the wrench button (settings)
and click "about" and it will say "checking for update"

Try un installing and re installing Google Chrome. That should sort it. If you have the same problem in internet explorer then it is your broadband acting up!
