Can you bridge a ps4 to a laptop?

I want to basically share my laptops internet connection with the ps4 basically connect ethernet from ps4 to laptop and bridge the connections or use the windows internet connection sharing tool, would this work? want to know if it will b4 i purchase the console.

Ive done this on my friends xbox one and it worked.

I'd recommend asking on the psn forum or a tech site just in case. Might have a better chance of getting the answer you're looking for
