If you get banned from Facebook, how long do you get banned for?

My Girlfriend of 8yrs. Daughter got banned from Facebook for saying mean things about her mom, and posted it all over Facebook. She said that she was a drunk and other bad things and said she was not Invited to her own daughters wedding in July.

Indefinitely or until facebook decides. I know I had added too many friends back in 2008, when they were cracking down on that and my facebook is still banned til today. I lost so many pictures and every time I went back to appeal, they just will not give it back.

Facebook has no set date on how long an account is banned for. it all depends what they did and what Facebook deems fit for this action. They can submit an appeal using the email address that was connected to their Facebook account. Also not sure how old they are but To be eligible to sign up for Facebook, you must be at least 13 years old.
