Google Chrome crashing on NEW Win 7 Pro x64 PC. Anything to be done or wirte off Chrome?
I click on the Chrome Icon and the browser window opens then IMMEDIATELY it greys out and a windows error window pops open and says: "Google Chrome has stopped working" A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Then checks for a solution, sends an error report, and closes down.

I am not getting the "Whoa! Google Chrome has crashed." error and it's not the "Flash and/or Shockwave are not responding" error.

What I've tried so far:
1. Uninstall/Reinstall. Worked until I rebooted the computer, now reinstalling doesn't fix it.

2. Tried DLing/Running then rebooting with the "dotnetfx_cleanup_tool". Didn't fix it.

3. Tried Renaming my Profile in C: Drive, forcing Chrome to create a new Primary Profile. Didn't fix it.

4. I can't open Chrome, so I'm unable to access things like "chrome://crashes" and when I go into C: > Program Files (x86) > Google > CrashReports the folder is empty or disable Extensions/Plug-Ins.

5. I tried doing the Command Prompt "sfc /scannow" run as Admin and it says that it found some corrupt files but was unable to fix them all.

CBS Log File:
CSI 000001ea [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file [ml:520{260},l:66{33}]"\??\C:\Windows\Performance\WinSAT"\[l:40{20}]"ShaderCache10.vs_4_0"; source file in store is also corrupted

CSI 000001eb Ignoring duplicate ownership for directory [l:86{43}]"\??\C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\en-US" in component Microsoft-Windows-WBioSensorAdapter.Resources, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture = [l:10{5}]"en-US", VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral

6. Uninstalling both Adobe Shockwave and Flash.

7. Running Chrome as an Administrator.

8. Running a reg-defrag

Do you think I should try running windows repair via the OEM Install Disk?

What else can I try?

If you have a 64 bit PC, I have no idea why you would even want to use Chrome. Get a 64-bit browser that isn't bloated and poor at memory management (I recommend Waterfox, a 64bit Firefox variant), and don't look back.
