Is there an addition cost for running 2 lines through one house?
I was wondering, will there be an additional cost for the cable company if they set up a separate line through my house?

yes, i paid extra when i have to extend cable in one room,well sometime it defend on your service provider,ask them.

What internet connection you got: LAN, DSL, or something else?
If its LAN which ends with your router you can easily do it by yourself, just buy UTP cable and ask to add rj connectors.
