Internet through mobile what type of connection is this?

I use internet by mobile as modem on laptop. What type of internet connection is this? Plz tell me also if there is any freeware internet accelerator which can hold internet connection without loosing? I use firefox..

i advice you to install google chrome instead of firefox because its faster.
if you want a stable internet connection better get an internet connection to your pc itself
to download anything faster try idm
