Is it possible to combine images and links in CSS?
I know how to combine multiple images by using css, but is it possible to combine images with appropriate hyper links?

for eg: share buttons its possible to combine, Facebook , twitter, linked-in, pinterest. but is it possible those images combine with appropriate hyperlink.?

The old-fashioned way is with http://blooberry.com/indexdot/html/tagpages/m/map.htm

I've not tried (I have no reason not to use separate buttons) but you could look at any of the online image map buidlers, eg http://www.image-maps.com/

yes it is possible; that image is called a client side image map and it's easy to do:
