How come google chrome isnt working?

Everytime I open the icon, it says that the network isnt working, and that my computer isnt permitting it as a safe program, and that i need to change that on my firewall. so, i went to my firewall, and it said it was permitted and i tried changing diffrent settings on properties and it still doesn't work! I have tried everything it said to, and google chrome is faster than my internet, so i really need answers. thanks.

Try downloading the newer version from 'filehippo.com'.
You can find all updates for Google Chrome there...

I think the version you are using is incompatible with the OS you are running... or there is any conflict with any other application...

Hello,

Since you have tried all of these steps i believe that their might be something wrong with the installation process for google chrome. Just uninstall google chrome and try this again.
