Selling on ebay question?

What is the process when selling something on ebay. E,g, say if i want to sell a product, i list it and everything and then once the listing time runs out, the person who wins the auction, do they just contact me and then we both arrange on mailing the product personally. or is there another way?

after they win the auction....they get an email to pay for it...when they do u get an email that they paid and to ship it.....it will give the info of the person example....address....you pack it up and ship it to them....they get it....and its all over.....if all goes well ( them paying u ) then you shouldnt have to communicate when them personally.

When your auction ends, the buyer usually pays by PayPal straight away (or shortly after) and then, once the payment is received into your PayPal account, you can post the item. The address is available through eBay and PayPal in Order Summary (PayPal is safer as it will say if the address is confirmed as legitimate)
If the buyer is collecting the item, send them a message and say something like 'Thank you for your purchase, I am available at .... when is best for you to collect?'
If they take a while paying, send them a little message.

you send them an invoice and wait for them to pay for the auction once they do If you have a printer you can use, go pack your item ready to ship, then go into your ebay account and click beside the auction PRINT SHIPPING LABEL, then weigh your package and set the shipping options, then upon printing the label hit the PAY LATER options, this will release for you inside your paypal account up to $15.00 to use out of your pending funds in order to allow you to ship your item.

If you dont have a printer you can always go to the library and use their computers for free to go into your ebay account to print the label.

if you have to take it to the post office be sure to get a tracking number to give to your customer to prove delivery to them.
