How to delete facebook pages?

On my facebook mobile new feed it comes up with a bunch of bs about 'the bible' 'the sarcasm society' blah blah blah. I just want to see the updates from my friends. How do i delete or atleast hide these updates?

Here’s how to delete the Facebook fanpage:
1. Login into your Facebook account.
2. Head over to the Fan page you to remove by doing a quick search.
3. On the left hand side of the Fan page right underneath the Fanpage picture click on “Edit Page”.
4. From the top of the page and just below the page title, click on “Delete Page”.
