How to create a group for certain people NOT to see updates on facebook?

Before you say "Remove them" I still want to keep them on their for personal reasons.

I want to be able to share my information with specific people on Facebook but every time I want to update my status I have to go in to custom and put people on the list I don't want them to see my status which is time consuming.

Is there any possible way that I can create something to limit certain people out from seeing my updates without removing them or without doing the above paragraph?

Just mark all of those people as "Restricted" ( you will have to go through them one by one to do so at first) but then you can just make your status available to "Friends except Restricted." Or "aquaintances" or whatever it is, I forget. You can also make your own list and you can make status available to "Friends except list "people with big butts."
