Why Bluetooth downloaded?

Turned on laptop and it informed me that a Bluetooth driver was being downloaded. Then that it had been downloaded successfully. I didn't ask for it so why did it do so without my permission? What advantage is it to have a Bluetooth driver?

You cant use your Bluetooth laptop without driver. Windows have some preloaded bluetooth drivers that you are using by default. When Bluetooth driver is downloaded specifically for your device then you could use its full potential.

You need the drivers for Bluetooth.

you can't use bluetooth for data transfer with out the driver for the hardware. It's set in the Control panel options to update when ever the hardware manufacturer releases a new driver for improved performance.
