My friends are more popular than i am?

All my friends are more popular than me. They are more outgoing and know more people and it really upsets me. They also can be really fake and suck up to the popular people and i don't know if i can do that. They also get way more likes on their profile picture on facebook than i do. I know it's shallow and shouldn't matter bu it does to me. I feel like i'm falling behind them and I feel less worthy. I'm quite pretty and I'm prettier than most of me friends(not that it matters) but they still get more likes. I'm so jealous of them all. I'm outgoing when I'm with my friends and have a great time but I'm not outgoing with new people and tend to keep to myself and not talk and let my friends do the talking. I try to be more outgoing but it's really hard. How can i be as popular as my friends?

You're only worried about the short term. When you get older, popularity does not matter because you will be like the rest of the thousands of families with a significant other and kids. Friends do not matter in life.

You should just like... be yourself, and trust me you'll be loved the way you are... and you'll be so so popular... When i was in high school, It was the same thing... You know there were plastic girls and stuff ... they were so popular... and i was in another different world... I just wanted to be like those girls... And when i was almost going to be like them... even people that i had... I was going to lost them... Then i just was acting like myself... I didn't try to be like any other student... That's the key of being loved and popular... don't try to be someone else... and don't be too hard on yourself to get attention... just be who you are... smile to people... laugh when they laugh... be patient with them... and don't use bad words with them... Just be polite and elegant in the way you talk... and i'm sure you'll be popular and more than your friends are Too...
