Internet Connection Problems?

For some reason when I try to go on certain websites, they won't load up for me. I refresh couple of times and they still don't show up. I don't think it's my service provider, I just want to know if I can fix this on my own. I get this error; (Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working.)

This message appear when the speed is not the good one. If is no message at all, try to reset the option for security level for sites but check also the setting fort your internet connection (again). And after that try to restart the comp.

again it may be your provider, but call them and see if they can rectify the problem. or switch providers...plus check your connection
