how can i delete pages from facebook?

i can delete most things from facebook but not fan pages why?

account-->edit friends-->in left side 'pages'
click 'x' straight to fan page name which you want to delete.

go to the page an click on 'remove from fans'

go to the fan pages then at the bottom right you will see remove from fan or something like that then just click that.
