AOL email account alternative email is wrong to reset password?
I have lost access to my aol account. When I log in it asks me to reset my password but to do so I have to enter my alternative email linked to my aol account. However the alternative email address linked does not match my actual email so I can't get the reset password email from aol. I can't contact aol because I either have to sign in to message them or phone them but they are based in the US. Does anyone have a solution to this?
Creating a new account won't give me access to my old accounts emails though, unless you mean create a new account to be able to contact aol which I don't know if they'll just presume I'm trying to access someone else's account. When I logged in before aol told me my account had been accessed in the US so I said that that wasn't me so then it said I had to change my password but to do so I had to have my alternative email address and it didn't give me the option to use my security questions instead. Don't know. There are a lot of confusing things about AOL. I had AOL since 1994. I payed 23.31 per/month for years. Back in April they went up to 25.90 so, I said okay I guess they needed to go up.
Then the next month they took out 28.99. That is when I said whoa!! that's it. So I canceled my AOL. then I automatically went to free AOL. And Can not tell any difference in my AOL. Now is that not crazy? When you tried to reset your password, did they not ask for your security question? If you have any questions email me @ trueloveleon@yahoo.com You have my curiosity aroused. I would like to hear more about how you come out. Ads |
