How can I fix Google Chrome?

I have the Google Chrome Web Browser, and I have a problem. This is what happens. I start up chrome, and my home pages all are tabs, but they haven't loaded anything on the web page. It just shows the page web address on the tab and address bar and the circling arrow showing that it is loading. It doesn't ever load the page until I highlight the URL in the address bar and hit enter.

i suggest uninstalling and reinstalling google chrome over again but if this problem persues then file a help ticket on the google homepage at the bottom.
