Problems with Internet Connection. Please help....?

Hi-I have a problem with my dial-up internet connection. When I log into the internet, everything is running as it should. Then i noticed that the following messages were displayed in the status bar of firefox:

waiting for p.www.yahoo.com
transferring data from us. i1.yimg.com

After that, my internet connection slows down to nothing and I cannot use the internet at all.

At first I thought it was spyware or a virus, but I have scanned my computer numerous times (even in safe mode) and nothing is there.

How can I get my internet back to where I can use it? any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is not an isolated occurance. This has been happening every time I try to use the internet. Probablly been happening about 3 weeks now.

try to reboot and try again

I suggest that remake your connection or start using internet explorer or safari because they work better in any way
