i havent talked to this guy in a long time...?
I used to be REALLY great friends with this guy, lets call him Ryan. So I had a huge crush on "ryan", like full on crushing for about a year and a half... it got to the point where i was left alone. I began to feel sad, lonely, and unloved. I was 99 percent sure that he did not like me back the same way. I began to push away my feelings and eventually they vanished. OF COURSE a month later he asked me out, and i said no out of surprise. That was three years ago. I see him in the hallway all the time but he doesn't really look at me anymore. I want to talk to him so badly, I miss him so much. I feel like it would be SO AWKWARD if i talked to him. I really miss him. Should i say something to him? If yes, what should i say?

Add him as a friend on Facebook. Tell him how you feel while avoiding that whole awkward direct conversion thing.

You should talk to him! First just try to get back on the same bases you were on before he asked you out and you said no (think about what you talked about before, or what you two did together before, like hanging out, and try to do those things again!) Just ask him how he's been doing. If it ever gets to the point where he asks you about what happened, just explain that you had not expected him to ask you out.

I totally know what you're going through, something very similar happened to me! I really liked this guy and once I decided to get over him, he asked me out, and I just automatically said no because I had been telling myself for weeks that I didn't like him. Later, I just sort of eased back into our old relationship before the complications, and then we were able to be friends, and then, later, I explained to him what had happened and he totally understood.

So just be honest with him! Tell him you've been wondering how he's been, and if it gets to the point where you would feel comfortable doing so, try to address the awkwardness (but don't do that right away). Good luck! He might also be avoiding you because he still likes you, so if you still like him, then you should definitely try to get back on good terms with him! Smile
