Okay so my ex broke up with me a week and a half ago after 1 year and 6 months of dating. I think his friends had something to do with it because he wasn't always such a dick. I've noticed how he has changed ever since he started developing new ways. I'm in eighth by the way. So in sixth grade, he was the nicest thing ever, and that's what I fell for. We got together in seventh when he was still the same, because that was the beginning of the year. This year, year 8, he met new friends and they are total douche bags. At first sight, I knew, but I still dealt with them for him. He hated my friends so he didn't bother. Now he's a total jerk, with an idiotic personality. I guess I had the misconception of him? He broke up with me through Facebook for quite a few reasons. First reason, we constantly bickered every time we spoke. Second, because he claims to want the best for me and because he was never there, which was true but he always knew that so. There are other reasons but that's not the point. Last week, on Monday, he said to me "just know that I will always care for you," but on Thursday my friend asked him about me and he just laughed. Do you guys think he never cared or anything?

he cares/cared but the thing is he's a coward, he found a comfortable place in a group of douchebags because he didn't have the guts to be himself anymore. it happens a lot, especially at your age. you're going to have to move on and sometimes these things turn out for the better. theres probably two or three really nice guys just waiting to hear you're available it's true, you'll see.
