How do I remove a "page" from my personal FB profile to a stand alone profile?

I had originally put a company on my personal fb profile as a "page" but now I would like to remove it to an independent profile. Can this be done?

Yes it can be done. Simply go to admin roles on Facebook page settings and remove yourself as an administrator from the FB page.

No It Can Not Be Done you Can Remove your Self From The Page But Than you would not be able to Update The Page Anymore or Change anything About your Like Page
