is there any trick in SEO to check when desired keyword will be on Top On google SERP?

hello,
can we calculate the estimate time for any keyword that when it will be on top in Google search by just analyzing the total search result in Google ? For example if i have a keyword " best website designing company in India". So, can i tell my client that how long it will take to be on top in Google. As i heard from lots of guy that we can get an idea of competition just by seeing total search pages in Google result. Moreover, IF search pages for any keyword is 50,000 or another keyword has 9,00000 . than which one will come soon on top and how long it will take?

No - there are no tricks, just as also there are no guarantee that someone can be on top.

If you have customer that wants to be ON TOP on Google this is customer with unrealistic expectations. You can bring him to first page on Google Locals or on keyword with low (or without) competition with few months work. But if keyword is with medium or with high competition - you need to do year(s) of work for this on daily basis.
