How can I add a bloglovin follow button to my blog, error continues to show up?

I am trying to add a bloglovin button to my blogspot/blogger blog and I know how I am suppose to do it yet every time I try it an error shows up.

I am going to the bloglovin widgets page (http://www.bloglovin.com/widgets)
Clicking the "Get this icon!" button under the icon I want (and I've even tried with multiples)
Then a box shows up saying to click below to add this widget to my blog
so I click the add widget button that sends me directly to blogger then I am sent to a "Add Page Element" page which should be the last step yet on there there is a "Edit Content" box which is coming up blank and saying "Required field must not be blank"
and when I try pressing add widget anyways I get an error.

I tried copying the code I saw in a step by step tutorial and the bloglovin follow icon showed up but it wasn't clickable, it was pretty much just the icon I managed to get on the blog

Can you post the code? Sometimes you have to put your own URL in the code.
