How do you connect a Built-in 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet LAN?

The computer I have now is a Time Warner Cable connection to a ubee modem. Appreciate any help!

You use an ETHERNET cable to connect the computer directly to the modem. 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet is a PHYSICAL connection.

It appears the laptop ALSO has a WIRELESS LAN card too. In that case you would need to buy a wireless router. Walmart, Target and Amazon sell them pretty cheap. Linksys is a good brand and they come with instructions. You will run a wire from the Wireless Router to the UBEE modem. Then your computer will talk to the wireless router---wirelessly.
