Mixed signals with crush? did he ever like me?

Weve never talked. My friend eavesdropped and heard the girl he truly likes, he gets nervous around.

He used to stare, be nervous around me, purposely brush past me, sat next to me 3 times and his friends would tease him around me.

He found out i like him and smiled at me uncontrollably twice afterwards. But afterwards he would avoid me to the point i thought i freaked him out. He looked scared to see me and left class asap when the bell rang. He no longer showed interest!

so he led on a different girl and i overreacted and got mad so i unfollowed him on instagram and stopped showing interest. I came back to school and he looked kinda mad/sad at me. He tried getting my attention and stood next to me again. He stares now and no longer avoids me!

Why and what happened, its confusing me soo much!
why would he avoid me so much after though? it felt like he hated me!

Guys can be weird sometimes, the same exact thing happened to me. If he really likes you he will show it though

It sounds like he has a crush on you and he is definitely a very shy guy that tries to get close to you whenever possible
My advice is if you still like him, talk to him and try to bring him out of his shell. Because he is a shy guy, try being a friend to him first and see where it goes.
he sounds really sweet and the thing with the other girl would probably be he was trying to get over you, as he was probably too shy to say anything to you so he tried to forget and move on, and he probs realised that he still likes you. Make the first move as he probably wants you too
