Is he a predator/psycho/dangerous?
I've been in a relationship with a man for 8 months. He lives in England. He's older than me and my parents highly disapprove. He didn't seek me out. We met on instagram and I took interest first and basically made all the moves and controlled our pace.

We've made plans to fly me over. I've met his mom, dad, and little sister (in her teens) over Skype. I know they are who they say because I have baby photos of my boyfriend with his mother and they are definitely the same people in the pictures.

He has never given me any reason to suspect he's dangerous. He doesn't drink or smoke. He is responsible with his money. I know where he works, his address, his coworkers. I've typed his name and his coworkers names into google. Their correct information came up, including his with links to his parents and their correct Info.

My dad gave me a lecture for literally hours and it's made me paranoid. But I know he isn't crazy or harmful. The internet isn't made up of mostly bad people.

We spend every waking minute talking. Texting or skyping. We sleep together on skype every night without fail. I know where he is always and what he's doing.

Someone reassure me, please.

If you have all your information correct and seem confident about it and have seen his family over Skype I dont see a big deal and he seems like a normal person trying to have a long distance relationship. Maybe your parents are just scared for your well being and are just trying to scare you into something to where you will break up considering they do not approve. Plus every parent thinks someone you meet over the internet or in your case instagram is a predator haha
