How can i change my name on facebook?
I keep changing my name for various reasons like i spelled something wrong or i want to change my middle name and now i want to change it back to my normal name but it says i changed my name too many times and i reached my name change limit.
"Sorry! You've updated your name the maximum number of times allowed and your name can't be changed again. To list another name you go by, such as a maiden name, please use the Alternate Name field below." ^(this is what it keeps telling me) Is there a way i can reset that? or i can contact the Facebook developers so they can reset it or change it or something? Go to, account, and click on, account setting, click on name change, and u can change it there.
However, if u change ur name a lot, it might not let u change it, because u did it, too many times. Ads |

There's usually a cooling-off period for things like these. They don't let people change their name too often. I'd give it 2 days to a week.
You could contact Facebook, but they don't respond quickly anyways, so it would be useless in my opinion. |

When you have changed your name the maximun amount of times, the only option you have left is to change it to your legal name.
Follow this link:https://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=name_change_v2 It will take you to the legal name change form. However, you will have to upload a picture of a government issued i.d in order for it to go through. I hope this helps. |

To change your name you need to send a name change request, which will must be approved by a Facebook representative in order to take effect. This guide will show you how to do it:
