Hiding Facebook activity?

Is there a way of just hiding certain features regarding facebook? Specifically, all I need to hide is that I accepted someone's friend request. I know it will rarely be seen but I just need to hide it. However, I don't want to make it hide whenever I make a status or being tagged in something.
