Internet Connection Sharing doesn't work anymore between my xbox 360 and laptop?

When I enable connection sharing out of my ethernet port, my wifi connection (internet connection I want to share) changes from "assigned by DHCP" to "manually configured" and does not work. How can I share my wifi to my xbox through my laptop with an ethernet cable? It used to work.

That's how internet connection sharing(ICS ) works. When u enable ICS on a PC its ip changes to 192.168.0.1 and the other computers which are on the same workgroup and gonna use the shared internet will get the ip address in the same range. Hope this will help u out! G'luck!
