Sound on videos not working?

1. I turned up all the volume and even went to Soundcloud it worked fine

2. Some videos only play up to 3-5 seconds then stops

3. It comes and goes if i close the page and re open it sometimes the sound comes back but when i click on another video there is not sound

4. I disabled and enabled my Flash player to no avail

5. I have Adobe Flash Version: 12.0.0.77

6. This applies to videos on YouTube but i also tried Vimeo same thing happens

7. The browser i'm using is Google Chrome but i also tried it on FireFox and Internet Explorer same thing happens

8. Also i have Windows 8
9. Facebook videos have no sound either

try to update audio driver.
