Can a person with a software knowledge tell I was on his facebook page?
I met a guy who works in software department. I was on his facebook page clicked into a few things but i didnt comment or request him as a friend. When i went back in everything was private.
I heard about cookies that can track you. Would he be able to do this and maybe see my email address, name or something?

according to facebook developers nobody can know the activities you do on other people profiles

Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles or contents. Third party applications are also are unable to track anybody.
