where and how do I get internet (not wifi) in midland?

For fucking months I have been trying to get pathetic internet in my house so I can use my xbox other than an 800 dollar dvd player, every time someone says yep we can put internet in your house they find a way to tell me I cant like im too far away from an exchange or have no ports, PEOPLE IN FUCKING KALGOORLIE HAVE INTERNET so why the hell cant I when I live 5 minutes away from midland gate shopping center, this is literally driving me fucking nuts

I tried telstra, optus and iinet, but apparently zero coverage so I called dodo they said there was a port available but im stil skeptical as to wethere their adsl2+ will actually work and give me fast download speeds or am I just going to waste more money on connection fees and soforth just to be enraged at the end?!?!
