Why are people posting these Ron Paul pictures?

All over Facebook, twitter and meme pages I see these pictures of Ron Paul saying I could of saved you and stuff like that and the reason in asking this is why are people posting this when Ron Paul is out of the election and now our only choices are romney and Obama?

I actually haven't seen any Ron Paul pics lately. The only person on my Feed who occasionally posts Ron Paul macros or memes is Brock Obama.
