Why google chrome says failed to create directory?

google chrome is my default web browser. whenever I connect to internet google chrome opens and give that problem failed to create directory? how to fix that please help????

i used to use google chrome, and gave me that too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i switched to safari, even though i do have a PC and it works great

Maybe it's trying to create a directory in an area that it isn't allowed to write to. Most sites create temp folders in your C:\Documents and Settings\%AdminUser%\Local settings\Temp.
Maybe your anti-virus is blocking Google chrome from writing to there. Try creating an exception in your firewall settings to allow Google Chrome.
Or try re-installing if that doesn't work.
