Hi everyone, does anyone know how to Remove PC Optimizer Pro?
I bought my pc about 6 months ago. It came along with Windows 8 64 BIT, and afterwards I upgraded to Windows 8.1 (windows store). Windows defenser is not active , I have instead Kaspersky's Pure 3.0 . About like two days ago,I kept getting notifications from PC optimizer Pro. I went on to check what this 'application' was and I found that it is a malware.

I found this site

http://malwaretips.com/blogs/pc-optimizer-pro-virus/

but for some reason I cant download Adwcleaner.

Need some help to remove PC Optimizer pro from my pc ,and get my pc back to normal. My computer is slowwwwwwwwww and my internet connection is slow also , web pages take long to load , I get an error SSL connection .

Please help

Control Pannel>Uninstall a Program
Right click on what you want to uninstall, then click uninstall.

It should take you through an uninstallation process.

My personaly recommendation is that Windows Defender in Windows 8 is more than capable of handling your virus protection, so get rid of kaspersky because that will probably slow your system down. Install malwarebytes (free) and use it to scan for viruses and malware. Once it's removed any malware you can uninstall it if you want, just make sure you turn on windows defender if you're going to uninstall Kaspersky.

For the future, ensure you're using Google Chrome or firefox, they are stable, secure browsers. Do not use internet explorer. Make sure you're firewall is turned on and that you do regular virus checks.

Good luck.
